A big THANK YOU to everyone who came to our Bingo & Brews, on a Cruise, Wednesday night in support of Brockville and Area Community Living Association.
So much fun was had on both decks! We had a great crowd and some amazing weather.
Special thank you to Captain Andy and his crew from 1000 Islands & Seaway Cruises – Brockville for touring us around the St. Lawrence River, Kent Henderson, Mortgage Specialist at RBC, for amusing us with your number calling and to our amazing local businesses for donating prizes!

Our game 1 winner won “service 3” from 1000 Islands Toyota which includes an oil change, tire rotation, fluid top up and more! Game 2 winner won a bingo basket from Bursta Baskets, gift certificates to Jon’s Restaurant, Barley Mow, Harps Smokin’ BBQ, Wing’s Tree Service and 3 Braves tickets… an amazing combo! Game 3 winner won a full detail from 1000 Islands Toyota and game 4 winner won a silver detail package from Price Point Auto. Our final game winner won $400!!!

We have delivered $600 to the Brockville General Hospital to go specifically towards the purchase of the needed MRI machine.
A special thanks to Mike Kalivas who not only made a $150 cash donation, but worked the room and did a wonderful job sponsoring this event.

October 5th's game night:
We would like to thank everyone who participated in our first night of Bingo and Brews @ the 1000 Islands Brewery. It was a fun night filled with laughs and a gracious amount of donations.
We were pleased to attend the Brockville Food Bank to deliver $365.00 in cash.
A special thanks to Rob McArthur for calling the Bingo numbers and making his charity of choice the Brockville Food Bank.
– $100 gift card from the 1000 Islands Brewery donated by the Brewery themselves.
– $500 gift card to Creative Concrete donated by Chuck Fournier.
– A full car detail and blanket from Hyundai Brockville.
– A basket donated by Kaleigh and I worth $45 plus gift cards from Steves Fish and Chips, Bobby’s Restaurant and Halo Hair Studio.
– 1000 Islands Brewery male and female hoodies, 2 beer coozies with 2 ciders values at $100 from Kaleigh and I.
– And a cash price of $185.
The final game was a full card….and won by 2 players. Typically you would split the pot, BUT in this case, Rob threw in an additional $185 for the second winner.
Rob is running for City Council and also owns McArthur’s Barbershop located downtown Brockville.
